Prof. S LAWRENCE JEYAKUMAR

Professor S. Lawrence Jayakumar

Holds three Masters Degrees in Tamil Literature, English Literature, Journalism and Mass
Communications.
He has a rich work experience in the field of Media Teaching. He has completed 14 years of Media
Teaching, at India’s premiere Institution, Loyola College, at the department of Media Arts, as Head and
Professor.

He has authored more than 60 books for various publications in various fields, including self-
improvement, personality development, and educational guidance.

He also served as assistant director to famous film directors K. Baghyaraj and SJ Surya.
His screenplay “Uyir Mei” won the award at the 2014 screenwriting competition.
He has mentored more than one hundred short films of college students. Many of them have got,
national and international awards.
He has conducted over 200 educational guidance seminars.
He has started a Company called “Script Makers” at 2019, which is involved in Script Making, Film
Making, Advertisements and Promo Videos.
At present he has started to serve our prestigious Institution as COURSE DIRECTOR. 6 Months Studies
and 6 Months Film making is his unique and novel idea.
